Family life
His interest in animal welfare began well before his foundation. Havertz has recalled his parents giving him sponsorship of two donkeys as a birthday present, and later helping to rescue another. Music also came through family life: playing his grandmother’s grand piano helped kindle an interest that he later developed through lessons.Source: Bayer 04 Leverkusen ↗
