THE BACKGROUND

Career and background

Bellingham grew up in Stourbridge and became Birmingham City’s youngest first-team player when he made his debut at 16 in August 2019. His international progress was similarly quick: he scored on his England under-21 debut in September 2020 and received his first senior call-up that November, aged 17.Source: The Football Association ↗

His first Real Madrid season brought 23 goals in 42 appearances in 2023–24. The club won the Champions League, LaLiga and the Spanish Super Cup, and he received its Mahou Player of the Season award. Those attacking contributions quickly made him a central figure after his move from Dortmund.Source: Real Madrid ↗
