Relationship history

David Beckham is married to Victoria Beckham. They met in 1997, announced their engagement in 1998 and married at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland on 4 July 1999. Their family includes four children: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

Victoria has described David as the person who persuaded her to make her own Netflix documentary after she initially declined. Before Victoria, Beckham had early romances with Claire Pankhurst and Jodi Price, whom he met during a football trip to the United States. He was also reported to have dated Julie Killilea in 1996, shortly before he began seeing Victoria.

In 2004, his former assistant Rebecca Loos alleged an affair during his time at Real Madrid. Beckham denied the allegation. He and Victoria later spoke about how difficult that period had been for their marriage.
