Career and background

Benson has traced her interest in clothes to her Nigerian heritage and to her mother, who studied fashion before moving to England. As a child she helped choose the designs that a tailor would make for family celebrations. Tolami Benson is engaged to Bukayo Saka, whom she began dating in 2020. They kept their relationship private during its first years before appearing more publicly together from the 2022 World Cup onwards. Saka proposed in 2025, and the couple continue to share relatively little about their private life.
