Former journalist

Núria Cunillera is a former Spanish journalist whose early work included television and communications roles in Catalonia. From Sabadell, she studied journalism and public relations before working with broadcasters including TV3 and Barcelona Televisió. She later lived in Qatar with Xavi Hernández and their family, returning to Barcelona in 2021. Cunillera has discussed that experience in interviews and appeared at fashion events, including Bulgari’s Serpenti anniversary celebration. She and Xavi married in July 2013 and have two children, Àsia and Dan.

Cunillera’s working background predates her marriage. A 2021 profile traced her journalism and public-relations studies and further journalism training, followed by experience at TV3’s Els Matins, reporting on local news and working in production at Barcelona Televisió.
