Izabel Kovačić

The idea for Lunilou grew from a family problem: her niece had sensitive skin, and finding suitable clothing was difficult. Izabel and Ivana began researching fabrics and manufacturers and launched the brand in 2015. Her subsequent business interviews focus on the practical work behind the label, including finding factories, sourcing materials and developing the range. She has described using organic cotton, linen and bamboo fibres and gradually expanding beyond children’s clothing. IZAKOVA added another part to her work in fashion. In Mamager’s 2024 interview, she discussed serving customers across different ages while retaining the production principles she wanted for her brands. She described working to balance the higher costs of production with commercial demands, and the importance of explaining those choices to customers.
