Career and background

Expósito has described horror as a genre she has loved since childhood. In the 2024 film El llanto, she appeared alongside Malena Villa and Mathilde Ollivier. Speaking to Vogue España around its San Sebastián festival presentation, she said she had deliberately waited for projects that interested her rather than accepting every offer after Élite.Source: Vogue España ↗

At Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2025 show in Barcelona’s Park Güell, held in May 2024, she spoke to Vogue España about the house’s variety and her interest in exploring different styles. Relationship history

Ester Expósito and Kylian Mbappé have been widely reported as a couple since spring 2026. They have been photographed together in Paris and Miami, including holding hands in Paris in July and arriving together during October’s Fashion Week. Neither has made a formal announcement about their relationship.

Expósito has also spoken about the boundary between public attention and her private life. In her September 2024 Vogue España interview, she said she preferred to keep some things to herself and warned against mistaking Instagram for the whole of someone’s real life.Source: Vogue España ↗

Her earlier relationships include Élite co-star Álvaro Rico, whom she dated in 2018–2019, and Mexican actor Alejandro Speitzer, whom she met while working on Someone Has to Die. Their relationship became public in 2020 and ended in 2021. She then dated Uruguayan actor Nicolás Furtado from 2021 to 2023.

She was also linked to Marfil co-star Hugo Diego García during 2024–2025, although neither publicly confirmed a romance. Earlier speculation involving Vinícius Júnior was denied by Expósito in 2022.
